Dr. Molly Katz is a female gynecologist who, along with a dedicated staff, is committed to providing the highest standard of office-based gynecology care in a welcoming, patient-centered environment.


I’m excited to welcome Dr. Marcia Bowling, a Gynecology Oncologist, and Rhonda Gottmann, MSN, APRN along with their OHC staff to our office building. They bring new energy to the first floor and I can continue to practice in the same space in which I’ve been working for the past 25 years!

The entrance to the OHC office is in the back of the building, off the parking lot. My patients will continue to come in through the front door on Hollister.

MEDICARE DOES NOT (AND HAS NEVER) COVERED PREVENTIVE OFFICE VISITS! Not even every other year. In the past, when we were taking samples for Pap smears after the age of 65, Medicare used to pay part of the visit every other year. While that is still the case, we are fortunate that most of us no longer need Pap smears after 65. Other services that I provide when you come in are blood pressure, height/weight, breast exams, vulvar, vaginal, pelvic exams looking and feeling for any vulvar lesions, rashes, thinning, uterine growth, ovarian enlargement and discussions about osteoporosis screening/treatment, hormone replacement therapy if indicated, pelvic relaxation, painful intercourse, urinary incontinence, etc. what’s the latest information about weight control, vaginal health, lubrication and so on.

I ask that you assume responsibility for knowing what your insurance does or doesn’t cover. Finally, our electronic medical record will email or call to remind you of annual visits. It does so with enough advance notice that you will have a selection of times/days. IF YOU HAVE A PLAN THAT COVERS ROUTINE ANNUAL VISITS AND YOU SCHEDULE ON OUR PORTAL, MAKE CERTAIN YOU CONFIRM THAT IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST A YEAR FROM YOUR LAST VISIT.


You can easily request appointments and prescription refills, view test results and make payments to your account online.

It is important that you get test results as quickly as they are available. If I can send them via the portal, you will get them promptly! If you do not register or you don’t provide an email/text opportunity, we end up spending significant time playing phone tag, leaving messages and creating unnecessary worry about knowing what is going on. I promise that we won’t abuse the privilege of being able to get in touch with you.

I am also happy to answer questions especially when you send them over the portal. Having your query appear IN YOUR RECORD enables me to offer better responses and we have our “conversation” documented accurately at the same time.

To facilitate your appointment, please print the paperwork for your visit and complete it in advance - the links to the forms are available here. You can also expect to receive automated phone calls and emails to remind you of your appointment, to let you know that you have new test results available for review, and to alert you of scheduling changes. If you'd prefer, you can configure your account so that you receive text messages instead. You will also receive automated messages about billing, and your billing statements will be sent through the patient portal. If you'd rather receive paper statements through the mail, you may change the setting in the patient portal, or call the office for assistance.

New on the portal - You can choose and schedule your own appointment! Enter the portal (once you have registered for the first time, it is quite easy to get on again) and either scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "schedule appointment" or click on the "appointment" tab. You can either schedule online or request an appointment with your date/time preferences and we will be back in touch. If nothing is available when you've chosen the "schedule online" option, please return and choose the "request" option and we'll find a spot.
